Someone gave this to me a few years bac, and it is wonderful! It keeps well for a couple of days if you use cabbage, but the cabbage will eventually start to get soggy from the oil.
The Veggies: 1 head nappa cabbage (or you may use any kind of lettuce) 6 green onions -----chop up these ingredients (bite size)
The Sauce-- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/2 cup vegetable oil (I use Olive) 1 tsp. soy sauce a dash of salt and pepper 1/2 cup sugar ------Mix these ingredients seperately (store in a container to use later)
The "Mix"-- 1 stick butter 2 pkg. ramen noodles (don't use the seasoning) 5 oz. slivered almonds 1/2 cup sesame seeds -----brown these and cool (you can also store this for later use)
Mix together the vegies and "Mix" then add the "sauce" toss well and serve immediately!
