Drinks:

  • 1/2 c. orange juice in a glass, fill rest with chilled diet gingerale

Vegetables:

  • Celery and salsa (Celery is also my favorite for keeping awake while driving - much more effective than chips or pretzels.)
  • Jicama (“heekamuh”)- a slightly sweet radish-like vegetable. Very refreshing! Great chopped in salad too.
