Movie Rentals Online:

DVD Barn - they have a minimum plan at $8.95/mo. They are the only ones that let you declare a movie sent back; then they send the next one without waiting for it to get back to them.  They’re in Phoenix, AZ. Their availability sometimes isn’t that great, but the “declare back” feature and the minimum plan are a great compromise.

NetFlix - their minimum plan is $14.95/mo (2 movies). Better availability but you can’t declare a movie returned. :(

Moviezip - Slightly cheaper than netflix; seems to have pretty good service. I get credit for referrals, so email me if you want to try them so I can refer you! ;)

Books:

Bookcrossing.com - Cool site.  People “release” books, log their libraries, share comments....

Fictionwise - Ebooks in many formats. They keep in your “bookshelf” prior purchases for download.
