This sounds yucky, perhaps, but it came out really good! I used regular coke, but I have found alternate recipes suggestion diet coke and low sodium catsup.
- 1 whole chicken, 1 1/2 lbs to 2 lbs
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup cola, Coke, Pepsi, etc.
Wash and pat chicken dry. Salt and pepper to taste. Put chicken in Crock-Pot with the onions on top. Add cola and ketchup and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours. Enjoy By Betty C. - posted by Molly
